Technical Artist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Malta.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with the Product and Design teams to create engaging games

• Develop prototypes and mock-ups for game features and behaviors

• Conceptualize visuals and produce design concepts, graphics, layouts, and UI assets according to specifications

• Create documentation with technical specifications and guidelines for Game Artists and Animators

• Present concepts and solutions to stakeholders while incorporating their feedback

• Prepare and export game assets using various sources and tools

• Act as a liaison between Design and Development Teams to ensure the optimal implementation of game assets

• Collaborate closely with the Art Lead and Product Owner to craft visually captivating games

• Maintain the organization of creative assets

• Optimize and implement game assets and animations

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Graphic Designer

• Proficient in graphic design tools such as Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator

• Tech-savvy mindset

• Knowledge of layouts, graphic fundamentals, visual design, typography, motion graphics, and user interface design

• Understanding of how static and animated assets are integrated into games

• Strong skills in teamwork, time management, and project management

• Quick learner with problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and capacity to manage multiple projects

• Ready to take responsibility in a rapidly changing environment

• Excellent communication skills to effectively align with all stakeholders

• Familiarity with JIRA, Confluence, and Slack

• Proficient in English, both written and spoken

• Applicants must be located within the CET +/- 2 hours timezone range

• CV must be submitted in English

• Nice to have: Experience in the online gaming industry, particularly with slot machines

• Nice to have: Knowledge of Spine 2D animation

• Nice to have: Familiarity with particle systems (Pixi)

• Nice to have: Basic understanding of HTML and CSS
