Motion Designer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ukraine.

📋 Description

• Develop motion content for Instagram, LinkedIn, Telegram, and other digital channels: Reels, Stories, short promotional and branding videos.

• Animate static creatives, banners, illustrations, and typography.

• Create 2D animations from scratch according to tasks and the brand's visual style.

• Collaborate with graphic designers' materials and independently create compositions for animation.

• Edit videos, working with transitions, graphic elements, tempo, and rhythm.

• Produce simple animated infographics, diagrams, and product demonstrations.

• Adapt content to meet platform requirements and formats of 9:16, 1:1, 4:5, and 16:9.

• Adhere to brand guidelines and maintain the visual integrity of each brand's content.

• Propose personal ideas for content presentation and animation, justifying suggested solutions.

• Utilize AI tools when necessary to generate or enhance video content.

⛳️ Requirements

• Commercial experience in motion design at a Middle level.

• Proficient in Adobe After Effects.

• Experience with Adobe Premiere Pro or similar video editing tools.

• Understanding of animation principles and the ability to apply them practically: timing, spacing, easing, anticipation.

• Strong sense of composition, typography, color, and visual hierarchy.

• Ability to work with both pre-made layouts and independently prepare designs for animation.

• Understanding of social media specifics.

• Ability to work within design systems and brand guidelines.

• Independence in work — from understanding the brief and choosing the approach to final export.

• Attention to detail, accountability for quality, and adherence to agreed deadlines.

• Portfolio or showreel featuring relevant motion works.

• Basic knowledge of Blender, Cinema 4D, or other 3D software is a plus.

• Experience in creating 3D motion and integrating 3D objects into 2D compositions is advantageous.

• Skills in Figma, Photoshop, and Illustrator will be beneficial.

• Experience in creating motion content for technology or digital products is a plus.

• Practical experience using AI tools for video and image work will be an advantage.

• Skills in sound design and music selection will be a plus.

• Experience in creating seamless looping animations and short background videos for websites will be an advantage.
