This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Leading the evaluation of solutions and governance of architecture, analyzing COTS, SaaS, custom, and hybrid options while recommending scalable and cost-effective strategies.
• Defining and implementing a comprehensive architecture strategy, encompassing current and future-state designs across applications, integrations, and data, supported by detailed artifacts and diagrams.
• Accelerating modernization initiatives, advising teams on cloud-native, microservices, API-driven, and event-based architectures while optimizing within licensing limitations.
• Designing and managing cloud solutions (AWS/Azure), ensuring scalability, resilience, and cost-effectiveness, while facilitating migration from legacy and on-premises environments.
• Integrating security and compliance into all architectural designs, aligning with enterprise standards, regulatory demands, and risk management practices, in collaboration with security teams.
• Serving as a trusted technical advisor and providing leadership, partnering with business units, engineering teams, and vendors while guiding implementation and ensuring architectural integrity.
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution AND eight (8) years of IT experience AND
• Three (3) years of experience in an architecture or senior technical leadership position.
• Three (3) years of experience with cloud platforms (AWS and/or Azure), including application, integration, and infrastructure architecture.
• Strong understanding of security architecture principles, including IAM, data security, network security, and secure SDLC.
• Extensive experience with Marketing Technology applications (CMS, DAM, PIM).
• Significant experience with legacy application modernization and system replacement.
• Familiarity with various SDLC methodologies (Agile, Scrum, DevOps, Waterfall).
• Excellent communication and stakeholder-management abilities.
• Domain expertise in Order-to-Cash (O2C) processes, including order management, invoicing, billing, payments, and integrations with ERP and downstream finance systems, particularly in healthcare commercial environments such as durable medical equipment (DME) or similar regulated product-based workflows.
