This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey, +4 more states.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for ADD customers and field personnel regarding complex instruments, with an emphasis on onsite integration, assay training, and troubleshooting.
• Address instrument and reagent challenges both onsite and remotely, while documenting information in the complaint handling system.
• Lead intricate integrations of instruments and reagents at customer locations in collaboration with project managers.
• Conduct initial interviews, evaluate customer needs, and manage expectations effectively.
• Plan and supervise the integration processes thoroughly.
• Provide onsite operational training to customers to enhance their capabilities.
• Oversee integration timelines and carry out exit interviews to present results and ensure customer agreement.
• Offer technical support both onsite and remotely for hardware, software, and reagent-related issues.
• Diagnose performance issues to enhance customer self-sufficiency.
• Record complaints and resolutions in the CAPA system for accountability.
• Identify gaps in products and processes to facilitate continuous improvement.
• Act as a subject matter expert for internal teams, influencing sales, service, and support strategies.
• Provide insights on product performance and customer usability to promote design enhancements.
• Assist account management during critical situations across sales and service teams.
• Maintain technical expertise while adhering to work processes, safety protocols, and documentation standards.
• Oversee projects, time management, and customer accounts in alignment with organizational priorities and sales goals.
• Operate independently with considerable discretion and collaborate effectively across teams and functions.
• Enhance CAPA effectiveness through precise documentation and resolution of customer issues.
• Maintain integrity and transparency in interactions with customers and internal stakeholders.
• Bachelor’s degree in Clinical Laboratory Science/Medical Technology, Chemistry, Biology, or another related Health Science field.
• A minimum of two years’ experience in a clinical laboratory setting, technical call center, or with Abbott Diagnostics products.
• Residency in the East Region area is required.
• Preference for candidates residing in Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York, or West Virginia.
• Willingness to travel 90% of the time or more is essential.
• Possession of a valid driver’s license is necessary.
• Relocation assistance is not available.
• Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology.
• Preferred: Four years’ experience in a clinical laboratory environment, particularly in Chemistry and Immunoassay at a hospital, clinic, reference lab, or physician office laboratory.
