This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +1 more state.
• Provide assistance to ADD customers and field personnel for complex instruments.
• Conduct onsite integration and training for instruments and assays.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to instruments and reagents either onsite or via phone.
• Document complaints and relevant information within the complaint handling system.
• Frequently interact with customers both onsite and remotely.
• Participate in customer touchpoint teams focused on account management and customer satisfaction.
• Make decisions regarding reagent utilization and product replacement that impact the US annual supply budget.
• Carry out customer entrance interviews to assess needs and confirm expectations.
• Assist customers in meeting regulatory and validation requirements.
• Tailor onsite training sessions to align with customer needs.
• Oversee integration processes to meet customer expectations and timelines.
• Conduct exit interviews, present integration outcomes, and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Investigate issues, diagnose root causes, eliminate alternatives, propose solutions, and document findings.
• Maintain technical proficiency on assigned instruments, tools, and processes.
• Adhere to TAS protocols for integrations, complaint handling, time tracking, activity reporting, and TOR documentation.
• Bachelor's degree in medical technology or clinical laboratory science.
• 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in a laboratory setting, field service, technical support call center, or with Abbott Diagnostics products, assays, or instruments.
• Must currently reside in the San Francisco Bay area or Salt Lake City, Utah area.
• Easy access to a major metropolitan airport.
• Willingness to travel up to 90% of the time.
• Capability to support regulatory and validation requirements.
• Competence in troubleshooting instrument and reagent issues.
• Ability to adhere to established TAS work processes and documentation standards.
