This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Collaborate with Sales, channels, and clients on both pre-sales and post-sales technical initiatives for Industrial Communications products (MDS and Lentronics).
• Create and implement technical sales strategies that align with market opportunities.
• Relay specific customer requirements to the Sales Manager concerning designs and quotations.
• Convey order-fulfillment needs to the sourcing and operations teams.
• Manage customer relations with effective internal and external communication.
• Record competitor activities and evaluate potential market shifts.
• Analyze customer specifications to ensure compliance or identify exceptions for equipment and service quotations.
• Work alongside Communications Sales Application Engineers, Sales Managers, and your immediate supervisor.
• Present technical information to all levels within customer organizations.
• Develop engineering and installation scopes of work, timelines, and cost estimates for comprehensive project offerings.
• Oversee and negotiate commercial and contractual risks throughout the Inquiry to Order process.
• Contribute to regional sales, order volumes, profitability, and the quality of Inquiry to Order processes.
• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university or college, or equivalent years of experience.
• At least 3 years of experience in a Technical Engineering position.
• Willingness and ability to travel up to 70% of the time.
• Knowledge or certification in CCNA / CCNP is preferred.
• Familiarity with IEEE, MIS, or CS is preferred.
• Six Sigma training or comparable quality training is preferred.
• Ability to work independently without direct oversight.
• Strong presentation, interpersonal, and leadership capabilities.
• Exceptional creative problem-solving abilities and a customer-oriented mindset.
• Proven oral and written communication skills.
• Capacity to communicate effectively at all organizational levels.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
