This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Collaborate with Sales, channels, and clients on both pre-sales and post-sales technical initiatives related to Industrial Communications products (MDS and Lentronics).
• Formulate and implement technical sales strategies that align with market opportunities.
• Relay individual customer requirements to the Sales Manager concerning designs and quotations.
• Communicate order fulfillment needs to sourcing and operations teams.
• Oversee the management of customer relationships with effective communication both internally and externally.
• Record competitors’ activities and evaluate potential market developments.
• Review and influence customer specifications to ensure compliance and/or identify exceptions for the development of equipment and service quotations.
• Engage with other Communications Sales Application Engineers, Sales Managers, and your immediate supervisor.
• Deliver technical presentations to all levels within the customer’s organization.
• Create engineering and installation work scopes, timelines, and cost estimates to support comprehensive project offerings.
• Manage and negotiate commercial and contractual risks throughout the Inquiry to Order (ITO) process.
• Positively contribute to regional sales, orders, profitability, and ITO quality objectives.
• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university or college, or equivalent experience.
• At least 3 years of experience in a Technical Engineering position.
• Willingness and ability to travel up to 70% of the time.
• CCNA (Cisco Certified Network Associate) certification.
• CCNP (Cisco Certified Network Professional) certification.
• Background in Computer Science (CS).
• Knowledge in Management Information Systems (MIS).
• Familiarity with IEEE and 4RF.
• Six Sigma training or equivalent quality training.
• Capability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong creative problem-solving abilities.

• Proven oral and written communication skills.
• Strong presentation capabilities.
