Technical Analyst, CMDB / ITSM

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.

📋 Description

• Assist in managing the full spectrum of ITSM processes and standards throughout the service lifecycle.

• Ensure the operational stability and continuity of ITSM services in both primary and backup roles.

• Promote ITSM governance and execution via operational coordination, reviews, data upkeep, and lifecycle support.

• Enhance ITSM process maturity through insights driven by data, opportunities for automation, and improved ServiceNow solutions.

• Cultivate expertise in designated services and systems while comprehending their integration.

• Offer guidance and support for computing platforms and systems integration.

• Merge end-user requests with software capabilities.

• Evaluate system performance and capacity, providing actionable recommendations.

• Collaborate with vendors and manufacturers to facilitate problem identification and resolution.

• Address customer needs and ensure issues are resolved to completion.

• Assist technical teams and customers with project-related and support activities.

• Engage in project planning, design, development, testing, and implementation.

• Assess business requirements, suggest system modifications, draft technical specifications, and enact systems changes.

• Mentor and serve as a resource for Associate Analysts and other application team members.

• Contribute to the IS Knowledge Repository.

• Participate in on-call support to guarantee system availability and performance.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 3 years of technical experience.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

• Bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred, or equivalent experience is acceptable.

• More than 3 years of experience in the core discipline within the healthcare industry is preferred.

• Capability to engage in on-call support.

• Successful completion of a criminal history background check and authorization/disclosure form upon employment offer.
