This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.
β’ Maintain the assigned application systems and their related software to ensure they are fully operational and integrated within the Northwestern Medicine IT environment.
β’ Oversee, assess, and strategize system upgrades to guarantee functionality and stability.
β’ Offer guidance and support for computing platforms and systems integration.
β’ Align end-user requests with software capabilities.
β’ Evaluate system performance and capacity, recommending enhancements as necessary.
β’ Coordinate issue identification and resolution with vendors and manufacturers across distributed IT systems.
β’ Address customer needs and ensure issues are followed through to resolution.
β’ Assist technical teams and customers with project and support activities.
β’ Engage in project planning, design, development, testing, and implementation of application software code.
β’ Analyze business requirements, suggest system modifications, draft technical specifications, and implement systems and changes.
β’ Provide assistance in identifying and adopting best-practice standards.
β’ Mentor Associate Analysts and other members of the application team.
β’ Contribute to the IS Knowledge Repository.
β’ Participate in on-call support to maintain system availability and performance.
β’ Minimum of 3 years of technical experience.
β’ Strong verbal and written communication skills.
β’ Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is preferred, or equivalent experience.
β’ At least 3 years of experience in the core discipline within the healthcare industry is preferred.
β’ Willingness to participate in on-call support.
β’ Successful completion of a criminal-history background check for new hires and, occasionally, for internal transfers.
