This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Minnesota.
• Establish strong relationships with essential business and IT stakeholders while gaining expertise in telecommunications customers’ Red Hat product implementations and environments.
• Conduct technical reviews and share insights to proactively identify and mitigate potential issues.
• Alert customers about technology updates or possible service interruptions and provide advice on strategies to address these challenges.
• Diagnose technical problems and facilitate issue escalation between Red Hat and customer teams.
• Analyze and deliver regular operational performance reviews to customer leadership.
• Oversee customer use cases and ensure thorough case documentation is maintained.
• Develop customer engagement strategies and update documentation related to customer environments.
• Articulate how Red Hat cloud solutions and future developments align with customer use cases.
• Assist in the implementation of automated and containerized cloud application platform solutions.
• Acquire knowledge of technologies related to container orchestration, registries, build strategies, and microservices.
• Build trust with customers and advocate for their needs within Red Hat.
• Share expertise and best practices internally, contribute to projects, and provide mentorship as a Subject Matter Expert (SME).
• Collaborate with Engineering and Technical Support teams to debug, test, and resolve issues.
• Aid product engineering in developing solution patterns that enhance platform adoption.
• Engage with field teams, customers, and partners to ensure a positive experience with cloud technology.
• Travel as required to meet with customers and participate in regional events.
• Over 5 years of experience in technical support, DevOps, consulting, development, engineering, or quality assurance.
• Proficiency with enterprise cloud solutions such as Red Hat OpenShift, Advanced Customer Manager for Kubernetes, and Ansible Automation Platform.
• Experience with migrating virtual machines.
• Background in the telecommunications or service provider industry.
• Capability to manage and enhance enterprise customer relationships through proactive, relationship-driven support.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong understanding of enterprise architecture and strategic business drivers.
• Direct experience with various hardware vendors.
• Experience in deploying applications in cloud environments and developing containerized applications is an advantage.
• A bachelor's degree in a technology-related field is preferred.
• Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE) certification is a plus.
• Experience in technical leadership or mentoring roles is beneficial.
• Experience in training and presentation delivery is a plus.
