This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Create original and thoroughly researched feature articles, how-to guides, and tutorials within key coverage areas.

• Simplify complex technical subjects into actionable, practical, and reader-friendly content.

• Propose captivating article ideas that resonate with the enthusiast audience.

• Select article topics from a designated topic pool and collaborate with the editorial team for assignments and feedback.

• Adhere to How-To Geek Editorial Guidelines while generating unique, high-quality content.

• Enter work into the internal CMS following editorial standards.

• Deliver articles promptly.

⛳️ Requirements

• Relevant experience in writing and editing technology content in English.

• Strong knowledge of one or more primary coverage areas: PC Hardware, Operating Systems, Software, Mobile, New Tech, or Streaming.

• Ability to consistently work within a US time zone.

• Proficient in SEO practices.

• Experience with a custom CMS.

• Submission of CV and cover letter is mandatory.

• At least 2–3 feature articles or tutorials showcasing the skill to clarify technical topics.

• Links to social media profiles or a portfolio are required.

• Compliance with Valnet Editorial Standards, including the prohibition of Artificial Intelligence usage.
