Grant Writer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Identify, assess, and curate pertinent grants that align with each organization’s mission, programs, eligibility, and funding requirements.

• Compose engaging Letters of Intent (LOIs), grant applications, and supplemental narratives that meet funder specifications.

• Guide, prompt, and review AI-generated outputs to enhance research, drafting, and revision processes while ensuring accuracy, tone, and judgment.

• Serve as the primary expert reviewer to guarantee that drafts are accurate, convincing, funder-ready, and user-friendly for nonprofits.

• Maintain a balance of pace, quality, and care across numerous partner relationships, ensuring clarity in expectations and workflow.

• Collaborate closely with approximately 25–30 nonprofit partners to comprehend their objectives, programs, and impact.

• Assist in enhancing the grant support process to accommodate more nonprofits without sacrificing quality.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in grant writing, preferably for nonprofits, charities, or mission-driven organizations, with a focus on securing Australian grants.

• Knowledge of funding landscapes, eligibility criteria, funder priorities, and competitive proposal strategies.

• Capability to transform vague context into detailed, persuasive, funder-ready narratives.

• Proficiency in utilizing AI tools for research, drafting, editing, and quality assurance purposes.

• Ability to take initiative, communicate proactively, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.

• Keen attention to detail concerning deadlines, regional specifics, funding restrictions, and structural requirements.

• Strong partner-oriented communication that blends warmth, clarity, and sound judgment.
