Tech Service Sales

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Deliver commercial technical support to both current and prospective clients.

• Provide hands-on assistance and troubleshooting for processing methods including injection, extrusion, and blow-molding.

• Respond to a range of inquiries related to plastics, covering material properties, processing techniques, equipment, testing, and more.

• Conduct application reviews and assist in material selection.

• Review mold designs for optimization.

• Act as the 'technical expert' during customer meetings.

• Lead and present technical workshops.

• Offer general support for technical inquiries, requests for literature, material properties, and other technical documents.

• Assist in identifying the root causes of part failures.

• Provide support for specification approvals.

• Collaborate on projects such as creating technical presentations, competitive offset lists, and assisting Business Development Managers with special initiatives.

• Engage in conference calls with customers to discuss technical matters.

• Offer technical support during processing trials.

• Compose technical reports detailing trials and customer projects.

• Write visit reports to document interactions and share insights, aiding the Technology Group's collective knowledge.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Plastics Engineering, Plastics Technology, Material Science, or a related field; equivalent experience will also be considered.

• Ability to effectively handle a demanding travel schedule while prioritizing projects and daily tasks.
