Tech Ops Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Workspace & Systems Administration: Oversee and enhance the global Google Workspace environment while maintaining corporate IT solutions.

• Device & Fleet Management: Expand and manage Mobile Device Management (MDM) solutions to ensure security, automation, and compliance across the entire fleet.

• Logistics & Procurement: Manage vendor relationships, software licensing, and hardware acquisition, including the configuration and international shipping of equipment to staff.

• Lifecycle & Identity Management: Spearhead the IT aspects of the employee lifecycle, guaranteeing smooth onboarding, access management, offboarding, and technical support across various time zones.

• Compliance & Security: Uphold detailed IT documentation, playbooks, and runbooks to support ongoing compliance initiatives for SOC 1, SOC 2 Type II, ISO 27001, ISO 22301, and CCSS.

• Technical Support & Innovation: Provide assistance to international team members facing technical challenges and facilitate the integration of internal AI tools and Model Context Protocol (MCP) connectors.

⛳️ Requirements

• Experience: A minimum of 6 years of specialized experience in IT Management or internal systems administration.

• Technical Expertise: High-level proficiency in Google Admin, Google Workspace security tools, MDM solutions (such as Jamf), and endpoint security.

• Remote Operations: Demonstrated experience in managing IT infrastructure and logistics for a globally distributed, remote-first workforce.

• Compliance Standards: In-depth knowledge of cybersecurity best practices and hands-on experience with SOC 2, ISO 27001, ISO 22301, or similar frameworks.

• Core Competencies: Effective problem-solving skills that balance operational efficiency with stringent security requirements; entrepreneurial spirit to work autonomously and enhance workflows.

• Languages: Fluent in English with outstanding written and verbal communication abilities; proficiency in French is a significant advantage.

• Bonus Points: Familiarity with or experience in working with internal AI tools and integrations.
