This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.
• Oversee the software development team with a focus on mentoring and nurturing our colleagues through individual development plans, conducting one-on-one sessions, establishing action plans, and providing regular feedback;
• Assist team members in implementing agile methodologies by facilitating essential ceremonies such as planning sessions, refinements, retrospectives, and more;
• Eliminate obstacles hindering the team's progress;
• Cultivate a culture of respect and trust alongside team members, adapting your leadership approach to various situations;
• Navigate within the company to identify opportunities and critical roles that contribute to the team’s success;
• Coordinate initiatives that necessitate collaboration between multiple teams to ensure product success;
• Conduct sessions with stakeholders to present recent outcomes, gather feedback and insights, and align on the product roadmap;
• Capable of articulating complex technical concepts clearly and succinctly to all stakeholder types;
• Collaboratively develop the squad’s vision and mission with team members;
• Continuously track product metrics, business metrics, and technical indicators—evaluating, enhancing, and providing visibility into the team’s goals and initiative status;
• Engage in product discovery processes, problem identification, and incident resolution;
• Assist in defining objectives and key metrics for the product/squad, frequently presenting these results to stakeholders (OKRs);
• Establish a software development process and ensure a consistent, healthy delivery rhythm;
• Manage competing priorities, embracing responsibilities and risks in a dynamic and rapidly changing environment;
• Prior experience in leading software development teams focused on digital products;
• Understanding of facilitation techniques and problem-solving strategies;
• Experience in working within agile teams (Scrum, Kanban, etc.);
• Leadership experience in technology upgrades or process transformation projects;
• Prior involvement with or in-depth knowledge of Generative AI (GenAI) projects, large language models (LLMs), and agentic tools;
• Strong technical expertise (previously a developer or architect) with the ability to discuss software architecture, integrations, and engineering best practices;
• Familiarity with AI frameworks (e.g., LangChain) and an understanding of the operational aspects of language models (for management purposes, not necessarily hands-on);
• Practical, data-driven profile: independence to assess scenarios and make decisions based on indicators;
