Tech Lead – Subscription Platform

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Serve as the technical leader for the teams, directing architectural choices, best practices, design patterns, and ensuring development quality;

• Act as a liaison among professionals working with various technologies, including Java, Kotlin, Python, Node, Salesforce, Oracle/PLSQL, React, and Next.js — ensuring technical alignment, consistency, and adherence to best practices across diverse specialties;

• Convert Product and Business requirements into practical, scalable, and well-architected solutions;

• Facilitate technical discussions, assess trade-offs, and suggest enhancements;

• Provide mentorship to junior team members;

• Collaborate with Product Managers on project roadmaps and estimations;

• Advocate for engineering best practices: automation, testing, CI/CD, and observability;

• Support the analysis and design of new projects prior to their handover to the development team;

• Spearhead the evolution and modernization of the subscription platform, including the advancement of the Billing architecture and ongoing modernization of the e-commerce system.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficient in backend development utilizing Java, Kotlin, Python, or Node.js;

• Skilled in frontend languages such as JavaScript (React/Next.js);

• Familiar with both relational and non-relational databases;

• Strong understanding of systems architecture, design patterns, and programming logic;

• Experienced with APIs, microservices, messaging, and integrations;

• Knowledgeable in CI/CD, automated testing, and observability;

• Familiarity with or experience in Salesforce;

• Competent in Oracle and/or PL/SQL;

• Background in subscription platforms, e-commerce, billing, or legacy modernization.
