Tech Lead – Services Module, ERP

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Lead, guide, and mentor a team of 8–10 developers with varying levels of experience.

• Ensure the development pipeline for Service Invoices (NFSe) remains active, stable, and uninterrupted.

• Continuously enhance the ERP Services module by adding new features.

• Maintain close collaboration with the Support team to deliver exceptional customer service.

• Ensure delivery quality and predictability while minimizing rework.

• Define the technical strategy for the Services module, encompassing NFSe, invoicing, and integrations.

• Analyze requirements and propose scalable, sustainable, and resilient solutions.

• Plan and execute refactoring and architectural enhancements.

• Evaluate and recommend technologies that align with business objectives.

• Ensure solutions are secure, performant, compliant, and maintainable.

• Enforce rigorous coding standards, conduct code reviews, and implement structured best practices.

• Ensure high coverage of automated tests and maintain a clear Definition of Done.

• Guarantee the quality of deliveries while eliminating rework and production bugs.

• Provide clear technical and intuitive UX documentation.

• Communicate status updates, risks, and impediments to the IT Director.

• Collaborate with Support, Product, and Business teams to understand needs and prioritize initiatives.

• Translate technical decisions into accessible language for non-technical stakeholders.

• Manage realistic expectations regarding timelines and effort.

• Monitor the roadmap, production bugs, and time-to-resolution metrics.

• Conduct structured retrospectives and implement continuous improvements.

• Mentor junior developers with the aim of promoting them to senior level within 12 months.

• Demonstrate measurable improvements in quality and customer satisfaction.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years in software development utilizing structured methodologies.

• At least 3 years of proven experience in a technical leadership role (Tech Lead, Tech Manager, or similar).

• Experience managing technical teams and being accountable for results.

• Experience in maintaining and evolving critical production systems.

• Strong experience with ERP, complex legacy systems, or financial solutions is a significant advantage.

• Proficient in PHP 7+.

• Knowledge of SQL and relational databases, preferably SQL Server.

• Familiarity with version control systems such as Git (GitHub/GitLab).

• Experience with REST and SOAP APIs, as well as integrated systems architecture.

• Understanding of system integration and data synchronization.

• Experience in developing billing solutions, NFSe, or similar systems.

• Knowledge of tax regulations and compliance, including NFS-e legislation.

• Understanding of revenue flows and financial auditing.

• Experience with ERP-specific languages (ABAP, AdvPL, Harbour) is preferred.

• Familiarity with agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) is preferred.

• Knowledge of Docker and CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions) is preferred.

• Familiarity with cloud technologies (AWS or similar) is preferred.

• Proficiency in Linux and shell scripting is preferred.

• Experience with advanced automated testing is preferred.

• Formal experience in mentoring and developing technical leaders is preferred.

• Background in change management and digital transformation is preferred.

• Leadership by example, accountability, clear communication, decision-making under pressure, ownership mindset, empathy, teaching ability, and proactivity are essential.
