Tech Lead – Payments Engineering

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Europe.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of the technical architecture within your squad's domain.

• Review and authorize all pull requests for your team.

• Establish and uphold the squad's Definition of Done.

• Collaborate with the integrated QA engineer to guarantee quality standards.

• Lead sprint planning sessions alongside the Product Owner.

• Oversee a team of 4-6 engineers.

• Offer technical mentorship and constructive feedback.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 7 years of experience in software engineering.

• Strong foundational knowledge in backend engineering.

• Demonstrated capability to review and analyze code effectively.

• Experience working in Agile/Scrum or Kanban methodologies.

• Clear and direct communication skills.

• Practical experience with mobile money API integrations.

• Familiarity with payment reconciliation systems.

• Knowledge of PCI-DSS or similar payment security standards.

• Experience in designing payment abstraction layers.
