Tech Lead – Java Software Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Portugal.

📋 Description

• Define and advance the technical architecture of applications, ensuring they are scalable, robust, and aligned with business objectives.

• Provide technical guidance to development teams, advocating for software engineering best practices and facilitating technical decision-making.

• Ensure the quality of developed solutions from the analysis and technical design stages through implementation and delivery.

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to establish technological solutions and enhance existing systems.

• Contribute to technological modernization and the ongoing improvement of processes, tools, and architectures.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 7 years of professional experience in Software Architecture.

• Demonstrated experience in Tech Lead roles or as a technical leader for development teams.

• Strong knowledge and practical experience with the Java EE stack, including JSF/PrimeFaces, JPA/Hibernate/JDBC, EJB, CDI, and Java APIs.

• Experience in designing and integrating services and APIs, specifically JAX-RS, JAX-WS, and JAX-RPC.

• Familiarity with CORBA, WebLogic, GlassFish, Maven, Jenkins, and Docker.

• Proficient in web development, including HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.

• Experience in modeling systems using UML.

• Knowledge of virtualization and the management of technology infrastructure components.

• Understanding of usability, ergonomics, and web accessibility principles.

• Fluency in Portuguese.

• Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to coordinate with various teams and stakeholders.
