Tech Lead – Fullstack

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Engage directly in the development of solutions, providing hands-on coding, conducting technical reviews, and making architectural decisions.

• Offer technical leadership to teams, ensuring the quality, consistency, scalability, and ongoing improvement of applications.

• Eliminate technical and organizational obstacles that could hinder delivery by collaborating closely with the team and leadership.

• Co-develop and refine the roadmap in partnership with the Product team, ensuring alignment of strategy, technical feasibility, and execution.

• Establish, oversee, and advocate for engineering best practices, including Clean Code, automated testing, observability, CI/CD, and development standards.

• Guarantee the quality of delivery through code reviews, monitoring, continuous process enhancements, and proactive resolution of technical challenges.

• Assist in the advancement of solution architecture, particularly in cloud environments, APIs, services, and integrations.

• Collaborate closely with Product, Design, and Engineering teams, balancing user experience, business impact, timelines, and technical quality.

• Cultivate a high-collaboration environment that encourages autonomy, ownership, and performance within teams.

• Support the growth of team members through continuous feedback, technical mentoring, one-on-ones, and diligent tracking of developers' progress.

• Contribute to the ongoing enhancement of processes, tools, backlog organization, and methodologies for the technology team.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in software development with a hands-on approach and the ability to lead by example.

• Extensive knowledge of Node.js, APIs, and service architecture.

• Previous experience in a technical leadership role, serving as a technical resource rather than solely focusing on personnel management.

• Experience in developing and mentoring team members, including providing feedback, conducting one-on-ones, technical mentoring, and performance tracking.

• Strong understanding of software architecture, engineering best practices, and the evolution of scalable solutions.

• Expertise in methodologies such as SOLID, Clean Code, automated testing, code reviews, observability, and continuous improvement.

• Experience in agile environments and familiarity with demand-management tools like Jira or similar.

• Experience with cloud technologies, preferably GCP, including Cloud Run, Pub/Sub, APIs, and related services.

• Knowledge of cloud architecture, microservices, or distributed systems.

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps best practices.

• Strong communication skills, the ability to prioritize tasks, and ease of collaboration with cross-functional teams.

• An analytical and collaborative mindset with a strong sense of ownership, focused on the tangible business impact of deliverables.

• Bachelor’s degree or Technical diploma.
