Tech Lead – Full Stack, Azure/React

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with the project team to grasp business requirements and convert them into technical solutions.

• Develop and uphold logical and physical design artifacts, ensuring they align with business objectives and project limitations.

• Assist in outlining high-level and low-level tasks for the technical team, guaranteeing clarity and feasibility.

• Work closely with individual team members to estimate and refine task durations, offering guidance as necessary to keep the project on track.

• Provide technical design direction to ensure solutions are scalable and extensible.

• Ensure compliance with maintenance and enhancement practices to meet service level agreements pertaining to system availability and security.

• Collaborate with other technology teams as required to support interdependent projects.

• Contribute to the establishment and governance of architectural standards within the department.

• Execute all other duties and special projects as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.

• Proficient in a variety of desktop tools, including MS Office Programs (i.e., Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project, Visio, SharePoint, etc.).

• 7 years of experience in software development.

• Designing, developing, and maintaining .NET-based applications, ensuring high performance and reliability.

• Implementing RESTful APIs and GraphQL endpoints to facilitate seamless integration between various systems and services.

• Utilizing Azure services and platforms to create cloud-native applications, ensuring scalability, availability, and security.

• Designing and optimizing database schemas, crafting efficient SQL queries, and implementing database-related functionalities.

• Strong grasp of software architecture principles and design patterns.

• Experience in mentoring junior team members is advantageous.

• Proven experience in leading technical projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely delivery and quality.
