This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.
• Design and enhance HTTP routing services featuring authentication via Azure AD/Entra ID, including shard map lookup and directing traffic to the appropriate cell in AKS.
• Execute event routing utilizing Azure Event Hubs, ensuring idempotency, cell-based consumer groups, dead-letter queues, and correlation IDs.
• Create the data access layer leveraging Azure SQL, Cosmos DB, and Azure Cache for Redis.
• Develop versioned REST or gRPC APIs for the Control Plane.
• Guarantee high availability through circuit breakers, retries with backoff, fallback to local cache, and static stability measures.
• Architect and implement database migrations utilizing Flyway or Liquibase, integrating them into the deployment pipeline.
• Deliver technical guidance to the backend team, conducting code reviews, establishing architectural standards, generating ADRs, and assisting in technical estimations.
• Collaborate with Architecture and DevOps teams to advance the solution.
• Specify deployment pipelines on AKS with ArgoCD/GitOps, incorporating health checks, rollback procedures, and configuration management.
• Implement observability through Datadog, encompassing APM, metrics, logs, and distributed tracing.
• Proficient in Java, Go, or Kotlin for high-availability distributed applications.
• Proven experience as a Tech Lead for backend teams.
• Familiarity with Azure SQL, Cosmos DB, data modeling, sharding, and performance optimization.
• Understanding of Azure Event Hubs or Service Bus, including consumer groups, idempotency, and dead-letter queues.
• Experience with Azure Cache for Redis, Azure Key Vault, and secrets management.
• Knowledge of AKS, Docker, application deployment, health checks, and container lifecycle.
• Proficient with ArgoCD, GitOps, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Knowledge of observability practices utilizing Datadog (APM, logs, and distributed tracing).
• Experience in defining REST or gRPC APIs and resilient architectures.
• Preferred: Background in Cell-Based Architecture or distributed systems with sharding.
• Preferred: Knowledge of AWS services (Aurora, DynamoDB, MSK, and ElastiCache).
• Preferred: Experience with Go in high-performance, low-latency services.
• Preferred: Participation in technical pre-sales and proposal development.
• Preferred: AZ-204, CKA, or equivalent certifications.
