Tech Lead

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Lead the technical direction of the team and ensure daily progress aligns with project objectives.

• Collaborate directly with stakeholders to clarify requirements, establish and advocate for priorities, and effectively communicate trade-offs and status updates.

• Take ownership of translating the roadmap into execution: decompose initiatives, sequence tasks, and maintain focus on the backlog.

• Supervise team execution, review priorities, track progress, and make early corrections when deviations occur.

• Conduct in-depth analysis of technical processes as necessary: including code, architecture, pipeline behavior, and incident root causes.

• Make and document architectural decisions across the platform and data processing services.

• Mentor engineers, elevate the technical standards, and ensure quality delivery without causing delays.

• Promote the effective use of AI coding assistants (e.g., Claude Code) throughout the team to enhance delivery speed without compromising quality.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 7 years of experience in software engineering, with demonstrated experience leading a team or managing technical delivery.

• Strong architectural insight, capable of designing and reasoning about distributed systems and driving projects from inception to completion.

• Extensive hands-on experience with Node.js (TypeScript) or Python.

• Proficient in Python.

• Practical cloud experience with AWS ECS utilizing Fargate, SQS, SNS, and Terraform (IaC).

• Experienced in developing with AI coding assistants (e.g., Claude Code).

• Excellent structured communication skills and the ability to align both stakeholders and engineers.

• Proficiency in English at B2 / Advanced level (able to communicate confidently in writing and speaking with stakeholders).
