Teamcenter PLM Solution Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Oversee the architecture, design, and progress of the Siemens Teamcenter PLM ecosystem

• Create scalable PLM solutions that support engineering, manufacturing, and enterprise processes

• Research, analyze, and design applications and functionalities for Teamcenter and NX

• Establish and refine the architecture of the Teamcenter PLM environment

• Develop Teamcenter object-model extensions for integrations with NX, ERP, and MES, as well as for data sharing

• Tailor Active Workspace and incorporate new functionalities

• Assess Teamcenter and NX capabilities and suggest technological enhancements

• Design and improve Change Management and Release Management workflows

• Collect user requirements and create new system features and functionalities

• Draft project definition and design documents for enterprise-level projects

• Advise departments on best practices and assist in troubleshooting issues

• Provide support for Teamcenter, NX, and Easy Plan, encompassing system administration, workflow implementation, integrations, and end-user support

• Collaborate with engineering, IT, and manufacturing stakeholders to enhance PLM adoption and user experience

⛳️ Requirements

• Capability to lawfully access information and technology under US export controls

• Over 10 years of experience with Teamcenter implementations

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline

• Practical experience with Teamcenter BMIDE, Classification, Workflows, Change Management, NX integration, Rich Client, Active Workspace, and product customization

• Familiarity with ITK and SOA APIs

• Proficiency in programming languages such as C++, C#, Java, and/or Python

• Strong understanding of PLM concepts, including product structures, configuration management, workflows, and lifecycle management

• Experience in creating workflows and with Teamcenter Change Management

• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities

• Outstanding communication skills and capacity to assist both technical and non-technical users
