This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Oklahoma.
• Recruit, develop, and lead a team of sales representatives to meet or surpass their district sales objectives.
• Drive strategic account initiatives for designated accounts.
• Collaborate with enterprise-level account executives to enhance account strategies at Strategic Accounts.
• Hire, mentor, develop, and guide the sales team within a dynamic business environment.
• Oversee planning, pipeline reporting, business analytics, and financial management.
• Work alongside peers, colleagues, and Services team members on continuous improvement initiatives.
• Build a high-performing team of sales professionals and direct their efforts to achieve profitable annual revenue growth at assigned accounts.
• Meet or exceed district sales targets, including growth in subscription-based sales and market share.
• Manage the onboarding, training, and overall experience for new sales representatives during their first year.
• A Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and successful work experience.
• At least 5 years of outstanding sales performance within the higher education sector.
• Proven record of informal and/or formal leadership with the ability to build and inspire a team.
• Proficient in identifying, organizing, and presenting the necessary data to support opportunity approvals with strong value articulation skills.
• Demonstrated problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency in data analytics, financial and business reporting, with a proven ability to make data-driven decisions.
• Proven capability to collaborate effectively with colleagues for the benefit of both the customer and Pearson.
• Demonstrated proficiency in MS Office, CRM systems, sales reporting, and basic project management tools.
• Eligible to participate in Pearson’s sales incentive plan.
