Team Leader – Compliance Ops, Perpetual Screening

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pakistan.

📋 Description

• Evaluate and take action on all transactions involving listed names/entities and countries, ensuring compliance with sanctions in line with established procedures and turnaround times.

• Approve transactions with complete accuracy, adhering to defined delivery standards.

• Report sanction hits related to individuals, entities, or countries to the compliance team for further assessment.

• Ensure that transactions submitted before the daily cut-off are completed by the end of the business day.

• Request updates on sanction screening from the compliance team as necessary.

• Identify gaps in processes, suggest system enhancements, and improve efficiency to mitigate risks.

• Conduct screening and processing of names, entities, and countries across all branches.

• Collaborate closely with Compliance for prompt decision-making.

• Approve transactions from a compliance perspective in accordance with bank policies and procedures.

• Propose improvements to operating procedures and technological applications.

• Suggest classroom and online training for compliance education.

• Keep informed about changes in compliance regulations and recommendations.

• Address process and documentation inquiries or deficiencies according to established guidelines.

• Authorize all types of transactions after verifying authenticated information and completing necessary screenings across queues.

⛳️ Requirements

• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.

• Excellent interpersonal abilities.

• 4-6 years of experience in the compliance unit of a banking institution.

• Basic proficiency in computer operations, specifically MS Excel and PowerPoint.

• Solid understanding of general banking regulations and rules.
