This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.
• In the role of team leader for Business Development, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth by overseeing a team dedicated to client acquisition and relationship management across multi-asset instruments.
• Manage and mentor a group of business development executives.
• Establish performance targets and ensure that both individual and team KPIs are met.
• Conduct regular coaching sessions and pipeline reviews to enhance team performance.
• Identify and pursue new client opportunities among corporates, SMEs, HNIs, and institutional segments.
• Lead comprehensive sales cycles, from prospecting to onboarding.
• Create and execute go-to-market strategies for services related to multi-asset instruments.
• Build and sustain strong, long-term relationships with key clients.
• Provide tailored forex solutions that align with clients' risk appetites and currency requirements.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to clients regarding currency risk management and market trends.
• Keep track of market trends, competitor offerings, and regulatory changes in the multi-asset instrument sector.
• Collaborate with product and trading teams to develop offerings that focus on client needs.
• Offer insights to senior management for business planning and product enhancements.
• Ensure compliance of all client onboarding and transactions with local regulations (e.g., RBI, FEMA, SEBI) as well as internal policies.
• Advocate for ethical sales practices and promote transparency.
• A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related discipline.
• Between 11 to 16 years of experience in multi-asset or Financial Markets, with a minimum of 3+ years in a leadership or senior sales position.
• A profound understanding of multi-asset products, including spots, forwards, options, and hedging strategies.
• A robust network of corporate or high-net-worth clients is advantageous.
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and negotiation abilities.
• Results-oriented with a strong passion for sales and client engagement.
• Proficient in CRM tools, MS Office, and market data platforms.
• Fluency in English is required.
• Proficiency in additional Indian languages will be viewed as a significant benefit.
• Willingness to travel within Indian markets as required by business needs.
