Team Lead – New Business

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Guide and support a team of New Business Brokers to achieve their objectives.

• Collaborate directly with prospects and underwriters to finalize deals personally.

• Enhance team performance through practical coaching, shadowing sessions, and constructive feedback.

• Maintain high energy levels and inspire your team to consistently meet and surpass monthly GWP goals.

• Conduct daily huddles, coaching sessions, and file audits to uphold the highest standards of accuracy and service.

• Utilize your expertise to assist brokers in navigating complex contractor risks.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in the insurance industry (preferably in commercial insurance).

• A minimum of 3 years in a supervisory role.

• A valid provincial broker's license (RIBO is preferred).

• Proven track record of driving team performance.

• A proactive mindset with the determination and adaptability to consistently achieve targets.

• Exceptional attention to detail and the capacity to manage various stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.
