Team Lead, Automation

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Lead, mentor, and nurture a team of software and QA automation developers.

• Cultivate a culture of accountability, psychological safety, continuous improvement, and technical excellence.

• Collaborate with leadership and People Operations to support hiring, onboarding, and team expansion.

• Take ownership of delivery outcomes for your team, ensuring commitments are fulfilled with high quality and reliable timelines.

• Convert architecture and design into well-defined technical execution plans.

• Offer technical guidance and architectural oversight while avoiding bottlenecks.

• Promote effective agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, or a hybrid approach) and continuous delivery.

• Clearly communicate progress, risks, and results to stakeholders and leadership.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of professional experience in software development.

• A minimum of 2 years in managing or leading software development and/or QA automation teams.

• Strong grasp of contemporary software development practices.

• Experience in delivering production systems within a cloud or distributed environment.

• Demonstrated ability to coach developers and manage performance in a constructive manner.

• Exceptional communication and stakeholder management abilities.
