Team Lead, Accounts Receivable

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Argentina.

📋 Description

• Develop and sustain KPIs for both internal and external stakeholders.

• Generate customer profiles, incorporating taxation details based on province or country of origin.

• Ensure consistency between contract terms, billing practices, and collections processes.

• Assign and prioritize tasks for the Accounts Receivable team, ensuring deadlines are adhered to.

• Review the output of the team for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with established processes.

• Collaborate with project financial analysts to reconcile project invoicing.

• Coordinate adjustments in transactions between Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable.

• Provide support for the Accounts Receivable team during vacations and peak workload periods.

• Assist the AR team with inquiries from customers and stakeholders.

• Oversee the Accounts Receivable team, including setting goals, performance evaluations, development, leave requests, workload planning, and coverage arrangements.

• Monitor AR aging and follow up on overdue payments.

• Support deposit reconciliations and address discrepancies.

• Lead initiatives for continuous improvement involving tools, systems, and standardized processes.

• Create automated tools, reporting solutions, and best-practice documentation to enhance productivity and accuracy.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of a college degree in a relevant field.

• A Bachelor of Business Administration or Accounting (B.A.A) is considered an asset.

• At least five (5) years of relevant experience in Accounts Receivable.

• Previous experience in a supervisory or lead position.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

• Proficiency in ERP systems.

• Strong expertise in Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

• Advanced knowledge and strong proficiency in Excel.

• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

• Legally authorized to work in Argentina.
