Accounts Receivable

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.

📋 Description

• Oversee accounts receivable functions, which include invoicing, processing manual payments, creating aging reports, and reconciling customer accounts.

• Document routine journal entries and bank transactions.

• Handle accounts receivable payments as well as credit card transactions.

• Aid in month-end close processes and account reconciliations.

• Investigate and address discrepancies found in financial data.

• Conduct bank reconciliations.

• Collaborate with and provide support to team members.

• Assist in the preparation of financial statements.

• Help with documentation related to tax reporting and other accounting functions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.

• 1–2 years of experience in accrual-based accounting, which includes accounts receivable, journal entries, month-end closing, and bank reconciliations.

• Proven capability in an accounting role.

• Excellent oral and written communication skills.

• Ability to interact effectively at all levels within the organization.

• Competence in planning, organizing, and managing multiple tasks and projects efficiently.

• Strong attention to detail with outstanding proofreading and editing abilities.

• Capacity to work independently in a dynamic environment.

• Exceptional organizational and prioritization skills.

• Highly self-motivated, proactive, and reliable.

• Consistent and dependable attendance is crucial.

• Must complete a comprehensive application, screening questions, and a brief pre-employment assessment.

• Must have authorization to work in the country where the position is located.

• Must consent to a Level II background and/or security investigation involving fingerprinting.
