This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Prepare and analyze tax returns for individuals, businesses, and trusts catering to high-net-worth and mid-affluent clients.
• Work closely with financial advisers on tax strategies, including Roth conversions, tax-loss harvesting, and ongoing planning efforts.
• Provide guidance to clients with concentrated investments, significant liquidity events, business ownership, and real estate on tax-efficient strategies.
• Act as the primary tax expert for the firm’s advisory team and its clientele.
• Develop and establish the firm’s tax practice, focusing on processes, workflows, and enhancing the client experience.
• Directly manage client relationships through proactive communication and attentive service.
• CPA certification is mandatory.
• A minimum of 6 years in public accounting, preferably at a boutique or mid-sized firm that serves high-net-worth individuals and business owners.
• A well-rounded background with experience in individuals, trusts, and small business tax matters.
• Excellent communication skills and a comfort level working directly with clients and advisers.
• Proven ability to excel in a remote work environment.
• Self-motivated with the capability to work independently and create rather than just execute.
