Tax Professional

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Prepare tax returns remotely while collaborating with Client Service Associates at Jackson Hewitt offices.

• Communicate effectively with Client Service Associates to collect necessary information and ensure precise and efficient preparation of returns.

• Provide assistance to tax professionals regarding tax-related inquiries.

• Resolve issues related to holds, rejects, and return management.

• Address and troubleshoot questions related to Jackson Hewitt software and processes.

• Support and mentor tax professionals with diverse levels of experience.

• Collaborate closely with the leadership team to provide support to offices throughout the tax season.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience with Jackson Hewitt is required.

• TP3 level or higher is mandatory.

• Experience as a General Manager or Area Manager is strongly preferred.

• Strong understanding of Jackson Hewitt tax software, systems, and processes is essential.

• Proven experience in preparing and troubleshooting complex tax returns.

• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.

• Capability to work independently while remaining an integral part of a remote team.

• Dependable, positive attitude, and comfort in a fast-paced work environment.

• Availability to work full-time during the tax season.

• Access to reliable high-speed internet.

• Dependable cell phone service.

• A quiet, professional workspace is necessary.

• Consistent availability and responsiveness during scheduled hours.

• A current Preparer Tax Identification Number (PTIN) from the IRS is required.
