This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

• Prepare and file individual federal and state income tax returns.

• Gather, assess, and organize tax documents provided by clients.

• Accurately input tax data into professional tax preparation software.

• Review finalized returns for precision and thoroughness prior to submission.

• Communicate with clients to identify any missing or additional documentation.

• Maintain organized and precise records for each client.

• Safeguard confidential taxpayer and financial information.

• Adhere to relevant IRS guidelines, regulations, due diligence standards, and company policies.

• Provide outstanding customer service and foster enduring client relationships.

• Meet set deadlines throughout the tax season.

• Engage in necessary training and ongoing education.

• Promote tax preparation services and expand the client base through networking, referrals, and community involvement.

• Develop a portfolio of clients through sustained relationships with returning customers.

• Previous experience in tax preparation or financial services is advantageous but not mandatory.

• Must possess an active IRS Preparer Tax Identification Number (PTIN) or be willing to obtain one prior to preparing tax returns.
