Tax Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.

📋 Description

• Provide high-quality tax compliance and consulting services to an expanding client portfolio.

• Oversee the preparation and delivery of quarterly tax projections and respond to ad hoc client inquiries.

• Facilitate and manage the preparation and review of federal and state tax returns.

• Ensure the accurate and timely submission of all tax filings.

• Identify and implement opportunities for process enhancements in tax procedures.

• Offer expert guidance and support to clients.

• Operate during standard business hours, such as 9am to 5pm, to address client requests.

• Lead tax engagements and act as a trusted advisor.

• Establish strong relationships with clients.

• Maintain regular communication with rapidly growing businesses, successful entrepreneurs, and family offices.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree or higher in Accounting or Tax.

• CPA or CPA candidate (REQUIRED).

• A minimum of 6 years of experience in public accounting (REQUIRED).

• Experience in a client-facing role, communicating with business leaders via email, phone, and video calls.

• Tech-savvy; ability to learn new software and comfortable using technology in general.

• Self-starter with the ability to work independently.

• Capability to coach and mentor associates.

• Familiarity with CCH Axcess.

• Experience with SafeSend Suite.

• Previous experience working with small to medium-sized businesses, entrepreneurs, startups, family offices, and individual owners.
