Tax Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Maryland.

📋 Description

• Guide and mentor team members to improve their skills and advance their careers.

• Oversee office workflows and procedures.

• Spearhead client engagements and take ownership of client relationships.

• Prepare and review tax returns for individuals, businesses (C-corps, S-corps, partnerships), exempt organizations, and fiduciaries.

• Offer advisory services to clients concerning taxation, finance, and business practices.

• Collaborate with the Tax Director to devise and execute the firm's strategies for retention, growth, and operations.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 6 years of experience in preparing and reviewing tax returns for individuals, corporations, partnerships, and estates.

• Bachelor's degree or higher in accounting.

• CPA or EA certification is mandatory.

• Previous experience in team management is highly advantageous.
