Tax Accountant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +5 more states.

📋 Description

• Expand LedgerGurus’ established income tax service.

• Provide comprehensive income tax services for current clients from January to May.

• Sustain ongoing responsibilities for the team throughout the remainder of the year.

• Develop processes for the tax service.

• Become a vital component of LedgerGurus’ offerings.

• Utilize leadership skills and strategic insight to transform the tax service into a leading income tax entity.

• Engage in communication with clients and team members.

• Participate in meetings and manage client interactions during standard business hours.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.

• Active Enrolled Agent credential.

• Over 6 years of experience in tax accounting.

• Strong communication skills to convey accurate accounting information to clients and colleagues.

• Ability to commit to 40 hours per week from January 1 to May 31 annually.

• Active CPA license is preferred.

• Previous experience in a leadership or team lead role is beneficial.

• Availability for 3-4 hours during regular business hours for meetings and client communication.
