This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
β’ Act as the main Task Order Manager for a large federal health contract that supports the VA Testosterone Screening and Treatment Expansion Program.
β’ Plan, implement, supervise, track, and finalize all program-related activities.
β’ Lead the creation and upkeep of project plans, integrated master schedules, risk registers, communication plans, and status reports in accordance with VA and federal contracting standards.
β’ Collaborate with VA Contracting Officer's Representatives, clinical subject matter experts, and internal team leaders to ensure activities align with VA health outcomes and task order commitments.
β’ Identify, evaluate, and address program risks and issues; escalate significant obstacles along with suggested corrective action plans.
β’ Manage resource distribution, staffing strategies, and subcontractor performance throughout the task order lifecycle.
β’ Prepare and deliver program performance briefings, data-driven progress reports, and executive summaries to VA stakeholders and senior management.
β’ At least 10 years of experience in healthcare program management, with proven expertise in planning, initiating, managing, executing, and concluding programs within an integrated healthcare system.
β’ A Master's Degree is required in a relevant discipline such as Healthcare Administration, Public Health, Business Administration, or a related field.
β’ A minimum of 6 years of experience supporting a large corporation or government agency, with a preference for direct involvement with federal healthcare agencies like the VA, DoD, HHS, or similar.
β’ Capability to obtain and maintain VA network access and adhere to all VA security, privacy, and credentialing requirements, including completing necessary VA onboarding and background check processes.
β’ Must be legally authorized to work in the United States; this position does not provide visa sponsorship.
β’ An active Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or an equivalent recognized project/program management certification (e.g., PgMP, FAC-P/PM, DAWIA PM) is mandatory at the time of hire.
β’ Previous direct experience supporting VA programs, Veterans Health Administration (VHA) initiatives, or federal health IT/clinical operations contracts is preferred.
β’ Familiarity with VA-specific program governance frameworks, such as the VA Acquisition Regulation (VAAR) and VHA Directives, is preferred.
β’ Experience managing programs related to men's health, endocrinology, preventive care, or clinical screening and treatment expansion is preferred.
β’ Understanding of federal performance-based contracting principles, earned value management (EVM), and OMB/federal reporting requirements is preferred.
β’ Experience working within or alongside VA's Office of Patient Care Services or a comparable federal clinical program office is preferred.
