This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Oversee the entire recruitment cycle from sourcing to offer for roles based in the United States and Canada, which includes screening, interviewing, testing, presenting offers, and conducting reference/background checks.
• Create job advertisements and recruitment materials.
• Post and manage job advertisements on career websites and various media platforms.
• Identify potential candidates through job boards, resume databases, and social media channels.
• Use referral networks to discover qualified candidates.
• Collaborate with recruitment agencies to discuss position requirements, candidate profiles, and the full-cycle recruitment process.
• Review resumes and credentials to ensure alignment with position requirements.
• Coordinate and schedule interviews; conduct and provide feedback on initial interviews.
• Build candidate pipelines for current and future openings while maintaining a robust talent pool.
• Track applicant and interview outcome data using the applicant tracking system.
• Foster ongoing relationships with hiring managers to grasp position requirements, business objectives, and recruitment needs.
• Offer guidance to hiring managers on industry talent acquisition trends and the job market.
• Cultivate an understanding of business and functional areas to attract and hire top talent.
• Serve as a primary contact for candidates, promote the employer brand, and ensure a favorable candidate experience.
• Provide updates and analytical reports on open positions to hiring managers and the Training & Resourcing team.
• Assess the effectiveness of current recruitment processes and implement enhancements.
• Minimum of 1.5 years of experience in talent sourcing and recruitment.
• Experience in Clinical Research, Pharma, or Biotech industry recruiting is advantageous.
• Familiarity with applicant tracking systems, resume databases, social media for recruitment, and/or candidate management systems.
• Understanding of interview techniques and sourcing methodologies.
• Knowledge of employment law and general human resources practices.
