This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Africa.
• Take complete ownership of your assigned roles from start to finish.
• Manage all aspects of the client roles, from reviewing the role brief to achieving successful placements.
• Achieve monthly placement goals while maintaining a robust pipeline of active roles consistently.
• Identify and shortlist candidates.
• Utilize our internal talent database, AI matching tools, and various sourcing channels to shortlist qualified candidates for each position.
• Submit candidates that align with the brief within the agreed-upon timelines.
• Notify when the talent pool is depleted and request additional sourcing assistance.
• Source, interview, and post job openings.
• Directly source candidates through LinkedIn Recruiter, your personal network, and other avenues when talent is scarce or roles are specialized.
• Conduct interviews to ensure candidate fit, verify experience, or address gaps from preliminary screenings.
• Create and manage job advertisements on our ATS and external job boards when dedicated outreach is necessary.
• Collaborate with clients to advance roles.
• Work alongside the delivery manager and operations team to align candidates with client criteria.
• Incorporate client feedback to refine the role brief and maintain momentum on placements.
• Challenge unrealistic or unfillable briefs instead of persisting with unproductive roles.
• Foster teamwork.
• Collaborate with delivery, sourcing, and account management teams to ensure efficient progression of each role.
• Engage in team discussions about processes, quality, and candidate suitability.
• Maintain data integrity.
• Ensure that role status, candidate records, role briefs, and pipeline data are accurate and current in our internal systems at all times.
• Identify process challenges and propose enhancements when necessary.
• Performance metrics include:
• Monthly placements against set targets.
• Pipeline health: number of active roles, time-to-submit, and time-to-fill.
• Submission quality, reflected in client interview and offer rates per candidate submission.
• Data accuracy across the ATS and internal systems.
• 3–6+ years of comprehensive recruiting experience, preferably in agency, RPO, or a high-volume in-house setting.
• Proven track record of achieving placement or fill targets while managing a live pipeline of open positions.
• Proficient direct sourcer — skilled in using LinkedIn Recruiter, Boolean search, and innovative outreach techniques.
• Comfortable conducting candidate interviews and making independent judgments on candidate fit.
• Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to challenge unrealistic briefs using data.
• Organized and disciplined — maintains clean ATS, CRM, and pipeline data without prompts.
• Familiarity with AI-driven matching and sourcing tools.
• Nice to have:
• Experience in recruiting across diverse functions or regions.
• Background in a marketplace, staffing platform, or rapidly growing startup.
• Knowledge of modern ATS platforms and recruitment automation systems.
• We provide a competitive base salary along with an uncapped monthly commission based on the value of each placement (the fee Huzzle bills the client). Commission is disbursed monthly in arrears for placements completed in the preceding month, with the rate increasing as you meet and surpass your monthly targets.
