This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Africa.
• Work closely with hiring managers and department leaders to grasp their talent requirements and create focused recruitment strategies.
• Take ownership of the complete recruitment cycle—from job intake and sourcing to offer negotiation and onboarding hand-off.
• Develop and sustain strong talent pipelines for current and future hiring needs through proactive outreach, networking, and innovative sourcing tactics.
• Create engaging job descriptions and employer branding materials that draw in top-tier candidates.
• Review resumes, conduct phone and video interviews, and evaluate candidates for both skill and cultural compatibility.
• Utilize data and recruiting metrics to enhance processes and provide updates on hiring progress to stakeholders.
• Partner with the broader People team to improve the candidate experience and refine our employer brand.
• Advocate for diversity, equity, and inclusion throughout the hiring process.
• Keep abreast of talent market trends, compensation benchmarks, and best practices in contemporary recruiting.
• A minimum of 2 years of full-cycle recruiting experience, preferably in a high-growth or technology-driven organization.
• A demonstrated history of successfully filling positions across various departments and levels.
• Strong sourcing capabilities with practical experience using LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, and innovative outreach methods.
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities—able to build rapport quickly and authentically represent our brand.
• Familiarity with an Applicant Tracking System (ATS); experience with tools like Greenhouse, Lever, or similar is advantageous.
• A data-oriented mindset with the capability to analyze recruiting metrics and leverage them for decision-making.
• Ability to handle multiple open requisitions concurrently without losing track of details.
• A collaborative, solutions-driven approach—viewing yourself as a partner, not just a process overseer.
• Experience in recruiting within fintech, financial services, or a remote-first environment is a plus.
