This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Oversee the complete recruitment process for entry-level, technical, scientific, high-volume, and professional positions.
• Collaborate closely with hiring managers to comprehend staffing requirements and devise focused sourcing strategies.
• Evaluate candidates and facilitate prompt hiring decisions while ensuring a positive experience for candidates.
• Contribute to enhancing employer branding, refining recruitment processes, and developing talent pipelines.
• Create and implement targeted talent attraction strategies for designated requisitions.
• Establish and sustain talent pipelines for recurring and essential roles.
• Meet hiring manager service expectations through timely communication and effective recruitment execution.
• Utilize sourcing tools, talent mapping, networking, and market research to identify suitable candidates.
• Keep precise records of candidates and requisitions within the ATS.
• Ensure compliance with recruitment activities and monitor recruiting metrics for valuable insights.
• Bachelor's degree in human resources management (or a related field) is preferred.
• 4-6+ years of relevant experience.
• Proficient knowledge of the MS Office Suite.
• Familiarity with Workday is a definite advantage.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in both French and English.
• Knowledge of job boards, HR software, ATS platforms, and recruitment databases.
• Experience in conducting phone, video, and in-person interviews.
• Understanding of employment laws, hiring best practices, and recruitment compliance requirements.
• Proven experience collaborating directly with business leaders and hiring managers.
• Demonstrated ability to develop sourcing strategies, talent pipelines, and networking methods.
• Capability to manage multiple requisitions and conflicting priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong skills in interviewing, candidate assessment, and making recommendations.
• Excellent organizational, project management, reporting, and data-driven decision-making abilities.
• High level of professionalism, integrity, confidentiality, discretion, and judgment.
• Self-motivated and proactive in anticipating client needs and proposing solutions.
• Ability to cultivate trusting relationships to gain support and achieve outcomes.
• Experience in recruiting across Canada and the United States, working within a matrixed or global organization, or within a relevant industry is an asset.
