Home Care Staffing Scheduling Coordinator

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.

📋 Description

• Fill open caregiver shifts according to client requirements, caregiver availability, and service needs.

• Handle same-day call-offs and urgent scheduling adjustments.

• Collaborate with care managers to address client needs, staffing priorities, and ensure service continuity.

• Communicate scheduling matters with caregivers, clients, seniors, and family members.

• Utilize scheduling systems like WellSky to assist in matching caregivers to clients and making staffing decisions.

• Keep precise schedule records, updates, and transitions between shifts.

• Develop a solid understanding of caregiver strengths, limitations, and their suitability for specific client cases.

• Report urgent staffing concerns, call-offs, or service risks to supervisors or designated client contacts.

• Facilitate smooth shift transitions and relay important updates to the incoming shift.

• Contribute to maintaining schedule stability, planning coverage, and enhancing service quality.


⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in scheduling, dispatch, workforce coordination, staffing, or a related operational role.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.

• Capability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced, service-oriented environment.

• Strong judgment and decision-making skills under pressure.

• Professional communication skills with clients, family members, and internal team members.

• Comfort in handling urgent staffing issues, call-offs, and last-minute scheduling changes.

• Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.

• Availability to work weekends as a part of a full-time schedule.

• Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in home care, healthcare scheduling, caregiver staffing, or healthcare dispatch.

• Experience in logistics dispatch or similar real-time coordination roles.

• Familiarity with WellSky or similar scheduling/workforce systems.

• Background in a proactive service environment instead of a strictly scripted call center role.
