Talent Acquisition Associate

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Africa.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of the complete recruitment process, from intake to sourcing, screening, interview coordination, offer, and onboarding handoff.

• Collaborate with hiring managers to comprehend their hiring requirements and develop sourcing and interview strategies.

• Create and implement effective sourcing strategies, including proactive headhunting.

• Establish a steady pipeline of high-quality candidates.

• Evaluate resumes and applicant profiles.

• Manage candidate shortlists through to the interview phase.

• Oversee job postings and incoming applications across BambooHR and various job boards.

• Support recruitment metrics reporting, covering time-to-fill, offer acceptance rate, and quality-of-hire.

• Identify and report on recruitment trends proactively.

• Ensure accurate maintenance of candidate and hire data in BambooHR.

• Implement and help improve internal hiring standard operating procedures (SOPs).

• Contribute to employer branding initiatives and recruitment marketing strategies.

• Comply with internal hiring and recruitment standard operating procedures.

• Assist with general HR administrative tasks as necessary.

⛳️ Requirements

• 2–3 years of comprehensive, in-house recruiting experience from intake to offer and onboarding handoff.

• Background in technical and corporate recruiting within fintech, banking, or financial services sectors.

• Practical sourcing experience using LinkedIn, sourcing platforms, and direct outreach methods.

• Proficient with an ATS/HRIS like BambooHR or similar for tracking pipelines and reporting.

• Strong skills in stakeholder management.

• Demonstrated ability to collaborate directly with hiring managers to define search criteria.

• Capability to handle multiple open roles at the same time.
