This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Designing, developing, and maintaining data integration solutions utilizing the TALEND platform.
• Implementing ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes to enable data movement between various source and target systems.
• Creating data flows, transformations, and integrations among multiple data sources and targets.
• Optimizing TALEND jobs for enhanced performance, reliability, and maintainability.
• Troubleshooting and resolving data integration challenges and performance bottlenecks.
• Developing and maintaining technical documentation for all TALEND jobs and processes.
• Collaborating with data architects, business analysts, and stakeholders to comprehend data requirements.
• Partnering with database administrators to ensure proper data structures and optimize SQL queries.
• Implementing data quality checks and validation rules within ETL processes.
• Assisting in the deployment of TALEND jobs across development, testing, and production environments.
• Managing version control of TALEND components and jobs.
• Keeping up to date with new releases and features of TALEND products.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Over 3 years of experience in ETL development using TALEND.
• Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts and methodologies.
• Experience with SQL and relational database management systems.
• Proficiency in TALEND Open Studio, TALEND Data Integration, or TALEND Big Data platforms.
• Strong SQL capabilities, with experience in writing complex queries, stored procedures, and functions.
• Experience with various database systems, including SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL, and PostgreSQL.
• Knowledge of NoSQL databases such as MongoDB, Cassandra, or DynamoDB.
• Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Shell, Perl) for automation and data processing.
• Experience with various data formats, including XML, JSON, CSV, and flat files.
• Familiarity with REST and SOAP web services and API integration.
• Understanding of data modeling concepts and techniques.
• Experience with source control management tools (Git, SVN).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication skills and the capability to work within cross-functional teams.
• Detail-oriented with a strong focus on data quality and accuracy.
