TAB Technician – Testing, Adjusting, Balancing

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.

📋 Description

• Conduct testing, adjustments, and balancing (TAB) of air and water (hydronic) HVAC systems to ensure they adhere to design specifications.

• Evaluate systems to confirm alignment with project plans and to detect any performance-related issues.

• Interpret mechanical drawings, specifications, control schematics, and equipment data accurately.

• Thoroughly document all testing, adjusting, and balancing procedures utilizing project-specific reporting formats.

⛳️ Requirements

• A high school diploma or GED is mandatory.

• NEBB or AABC certification is preferred but not essential.

• Proficient math skills, including calculations pertinent to air and water (hydronic) balancing.

• Capability to read and comprehend mechanical drawings, technical documentation, and Statements of Work (SOWs).

• Ability to work independently with meticulous attention to detail and a dedication to producing quality work.
