TAB Technician – Testing, Adjusting, Balancing

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.

📋 Description

• Conduct testing, adjustments, and balancing of air and water (hydronic) HVAC systems to align with design specifications.

• Evaluate systems to ensure they adhere to project plans and identify any performance challenges.

• Interpret and analyze mechanical drawings, specifications, control schematics, and equipment data.

• Thoroughly document testing, adjusting, and balancing efforts following project-specific reporting guidelines.

⛳️ Requirements

• A high school diploma or GED is required.

• NEBB or AABC certification is preferred, but not mandatory.

• Proficient math skills, including calculations pertinent to air and water (hydronic) balancing.

• Capability to read and comprehend mechanical drawings, technical documents, and Statements of Work (SOWs).

• Ability to work autonomously with a keen eye for detail and a dedication to delivering quality work.

• Field-based responsibilities in the Gainesville, FL region, with travel to and from job sites.
