Systems Software Engineer, Kubernetes Scale

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Lead comprehensive performance and scalability assessments for the NVIDIA DGX Cloud software suite.

• Partner with AI researchers, developers, and clients to create groundbreaking, automated testing solutions.

• Conduct in-depth investigations into performance and scalability challenges within intricate distributed systems.

• Conceive and develop tools for monitoring, reporting, and analyzing performance and scalability testing.

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and identify root causes of issues associated with managing Kubernetes clusters at a massive scale.

• Establish and sustain a high-performance framework that facilitates ongoing performance and scalability testing.

• Clearly and succinctly document research findings, methodologies, and results.

• Collaborate effectively with upstream communities.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.

• Knowledge in Computer Architecture, Networking, Storage systems, and Accelerators.

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering (preferably in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science) or equivalent experience.

• Proficiency in Kubernetes and understanding of related CNCF projects.

• Experience with large-scale parallel and distributed accelerator-based systems.

• Strong capability in optimizing performance and AI workloads on extensive systems.

• Familiarity with performance modeling and benchmarking at scale.

• Proficient in Golang/Python programming languages.

• Experience with the NVIDIA software ecosystem in both training and inference contexts.

• Knowledge of at least one public Cloud Service Provider infrastructure (such as GCP, AWS, Azure, or OCI).
