Director, Systems Engineering – CALA

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Lead, mentor, and develop a geographically dispersed team of Systems Engineers throughout the CALA region.

• Collaborate with regional sales leadership to meet revenue goals, enhance pipeline growth, and expand market presence.

• Foster technical engagement with channel partners, distributors, and key end-users.

• Assist in partner recruitment, onboarding, and continuous technical enablement across various markets.

• Oversee pre-sales initiatives, including solution design, demonstrations, proofs of concept, and responses to RFx requests.

• Assess and enhance technical account plans and regional go-to-market strategies.

• Serve as a technical escalation point for intricate, multi-national deployments and customer challenges.

• Establish executive-level relationships with partners, distributors, and customers as a trusted advisor.

• Work closely with product management and internal teams to deliver regional market insights and influence product roadmaps.

• Advocate for best practices in solution design, deployment, and customer success across varied environments.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Computer Science, IT, or a related discipline (or equivalent experience).

• Over 10 years of pre-sales or systems engineering experience in at least one networking area (Wi-Fi, switching, routing).

• More than 5 years of experience leading or managing technical teams.

• Significant experience collaborating with channel partners and distributors in emerging or multi-country markets.

• Practical experience with enterprise networking solutions, including wireless and switching technologies.

• Demonstrated ability to navigate complex and matrixed organizations.

• Strong leadership capabilities.

• Highly effective in technical, business, and industry-related presentation skills.

• Proficiency in English and Spanish is required (Portuguese is a strong advantage).
