This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Massachusetts.
• Design and execute comprehensive integrations utilizing approved patterns such as APIs, middleware, event-driven mechanisms, and batch processes.
• Create in-depth technical designs, specifications, and interface documentation.
• Define and implement:
• o Data mappings and transformations.
• o Interface contracts and schemas.
• o Mechanisms for error handling, resiliency, and retries.
• o Logging, monitoring, and alerting processes.
• Lead the hands-on construction and configuration across SAP and integrated platforms.
• Provide technical guidance and oversight for the AMS Integration & Development teams.
• Supervise AMS production support activities and serve as the primary contact for critical incidents and escalations.
• Ensure adherence to SLA, consistent application of integration standards, and thorough documentation.
• Propel enhancements in integration stability, performance, and defect minimization.
• Ensure that solutions comply with enterprise-defined integration standards and patterns.
• Engage in design reviews to confirm feasibility, performance, and quality of builds.
• Identify and escalate instances where standards may not be practical for delivery.
• Ensure custom developments are well-designed and aligned with approved methodologies.
• Define metrics for monitoring, alerting, and operational performance.
• Support deployment, cutover, and stabilization activities.
• Promote ongoing improvements in integration performance and reliability.
• Collaborate with Enterprise Architecture to maintain alignment with strategy and standards.
• Work with business and IT teams to translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Act as the link between architectural objectives and implementation execution.
• Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 10 years of experience in integration, particularly using SAP middleware or similar technologies.
• Proficient in SAP BTP and integration technologies such as CPI, APIs, EDI, and middleware.
• Working knowledge of ABAP development and familiarity with SAP modules like FICO, MM, PP, or SD.
• Experience in leading or supervising AMS support teams (both integration and development).
• Strong technical expertise and a solid background in enterprise architecture.
• Experience with S/4HANA integration landscapes.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and presentation abilities.
• Knowledge of the CPG industry is an advantage.
